Happy New Year everyone!!

I'm having some drawing stress!! I'm taking a course for school that is very helpful in the art departments (focusing and sketching and what not, I think this term we'll be working with some computer programs too, such as CAD!!) but, we got our assignments from last term handed back with some really... not so great feedback. Almost insulting at times. And now we have another drawing assignment, and we're all feeling a little disheartened. I personally am feeling a bit rushed and pressured, which is not going to produce anything too outstanding. However, the students who have great art skills and backgrounds do really well. They get good marks and have their work 'featured' (meaning held as an example for the rest of the class ) and those of us who have no formal training or experience get graded poorly. It should be motivation to try harder (which it is somewhat) but it's also like, why bother, cause I know they're going to basically say my drawings suck and have no depth/not good enough shading/tone/whatever. Gr! And it's a lot of human body stuff, which is nearly impossible to draw if you don't really know, or can't find a good reference. Especially in a short time frame!

Ugh. Frustrating! I guess it's good practice but it's kinda stressful This term is going to be tough!!
